The nonprofit provides evidence of investment in leadership development
Describe an investment in leadership
First, this year one of the main focuses was our on boarding process. Leadership took time to come together to develop and redevelop our training materials for new staff. Additionally, we invested in online software to make the on boarding process streamlined.
Second, it is vital in our organization that leadership is communicating effectively. We hold monthly leadership meetings to address prominent issues we are seeing with our staff, clients, and in the community, as well as, analyze the data that we are collecting to measure our outcomes.
Third, it is important to invest in leadership training. Leadership staff is encouraged to participate in various trainings about communication, effective feedback, and conflict resolution.
Fourth, leadership is required to utilize performance management software with staff, that tracks positive and negative feedback, peer feedback, employee satisfaction, and goal setting.
