Mission

First Things First (FTF) is a nonprofit organization that provides resources that guide people in their relationships so they can live better lives. Our Vision is for healthy relationship skills to be passed down by every family from generation to generation.

Goals

1.To better assist families in our community, FTF hired a Case Manager. The Case Manager works directly with families moving out of a local homeless shelter and assists them on their path to stability.
2.FTF has served non-custodial fathers in the Chattanooga area since 2011. FTF has expanded this program to include MEND, which serves non-custodial mothers as they navigate the child support system.
3.FTF’s leadership team strategically invests in staff development. Topics to date include teamwork, identifying and maximizing strengths, equity and diversity, and understanding poverty.
