Walk-Bike Nashville Inc.

Mission

Our mission is to make Nashville more walkable, bikeable, and livable by activating our community, advocating for great streets, and demonstrating our vision through bold, visible action.

Vision

We dream of a city where great streets and a strong culture of walking and biking cultivate a sense of joy, belonging, and freedom where all Nashvillians can thrive.

Goals

1.We change the way our streets are built in a people-centered way by empowering community members to address neighborhood-level needs for our streets and proactively influencing government-led transportation projects.
2.We cultivate a new way of thinking about and interacting with our streets by demonstrating our mission in action with bold, visible events, programs, and installations, and by leading a narrative that generates a sense of possibility.
3.We build a growth-oriented organization by increasing our fundraising and financial stability, increasing operational efficiency, and developing our human resources (our staff, our board, and our members).
