Family Promise is an integral part of the community's helping agencies and our area's Continuum of Care.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Based on volunteer fatigue brought on by over 20 years of service, greatly compounded by the effects of COVID and houses of worship, Family Promise has had to adapt its model from area churches providing housing for families in our shelter to housing families in area motels. Family Promise has had to increase funding for the new costs and consider the long-term ramifications of supporting any type of shelter housing that costs money.
