Better Basics empowers children across Alabama by equipping them with foundational academic skills and educational opportunities for lifelong success. We envision strong communities with expanded access to education where every child’s potential is realized. Better Basics empowers under-resourced children to succeed in school and life through our site-based interventions, enrichment programs, and reading resources. We serve Central Alabama children from birth through 6th grade.
