Mission

Since 1981, the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, Inc. (CAC) exists to provide a compassionate, coordinated response to child abuse and neglect, offering hope, healing, and justice to vulnerable children and their families through advocacy, therapy, prevention, and community collaboration. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing space for children affected by abuse and neglect, where they share their stories, heal, and thrive with comprehensive support.

We dream of a community where children are free from harm and can flourish in an environment that promotes healthy development and emotional well being.

Goals

1.We aim to expand our footprint by increasing access to therapy, advocacy, and prevention programs across all four counties we serve, reaching more children and families with trauma-informed care and coordinated support.
2.We are strengthening outreach to increase awareness of child abuse, educate the public, and build strategic partnerships with child welfare, legal, and healthcare systems to improve outcomes for children.
3.We are building long-term sustainability through the creation of an endowment, expanding donor engagement, and growing revenue through our annual fundraising event and strategic development initiatives.
