The United States has always been a Maritime Nation. Here at AMMV we strive to recognize the vital service of our Mariners, past and present, to our Country and educate the general public of its importance to our National Security and economic prosperity.

Vision

By gaining the recognitions of our supply chain service in simply raising the U.S. Merchant Marine flag, we look to honor our Mariners who are currently standing watch and those who inspire to go down to the sea in ships!

Goals

1.We have constantly participated in multiple National ceremonies and seek associate membership to the NDVC. This remains a core program going into the future. Having the ability to honor our Fallen Mariners on this National Platform avails big impacts for our cause.
2.AMMV must embrace the younger generation of Mariners from across the spectrum of the Maritime Industry. Both Inland and Deep Sea. Advocate across the Maritime Training Academies both State and Federal attracting new members.
3.AMMV continues to acquire interviews of our legacy Mariners and tell their story. We archive these on our YouTube Channel and other social media platforms. We continue to pay tribute to the younger Mariners and build upon their great stories serving in this crucial industry to our Country.
