Mission

The mission of Dade County Association of Firefighters Charities, Inc. (DCAFC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to: Support and contribute to charitable causes; Provide assistance and comfort to sick, injured, active, and retired firefighters and their families; Offer support and care to the survivors of firefighters killed in service; Establish and maintain a memorial honoring firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice. DCAFC is deeply committed to raising awareness and education about two critical issues impacting firefighters: cancer and mental health. Every day, our firefighters bravely protect our community, and we are committed to reciprocating their support. Through generous donations and partnerships with organizations specializing in cancer research and mental health services, we provide essential resources, education, and support systems for our heroes. DCAFC has also dedicated its efforts to supporting numerous non-profit organizations that have made significant impacts in our community and leading similar missions affecting firefighters.
