Mission

Laurel Civics missions is to build strong foundations through educational programs that empower children and families in South Sarasota County to lead successful lives.We provide comprehensive support services, including afterschool academic programs, advocacy, and community initiatives aimed at enhancing quality of life and fostering resilience.

Goals

1.We believe that children deserve to be nurtured, supported, and empowered in a safe and fun environment.
2.We are dedicated to refining our Teen Empowerment Summer Program that help teens succeed by becoming lifelong learners, and leaders, and specifically prepares 10th-12th graders for college readiness.
3.We believe that providing services for adults that help prevent hunger and teaches financial literacy, employability programs, and other resources, provides opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency.
