Mission

ANF is a not-for-profit relief and development organization that<br>provides opportunity to those affected by poverty in Nicaragua.<br>Founded in 1992, ANF's work focuses on six program areas-<br>education, health and nutrition, housing, water and sanitation,<br>agriculture, and humanitarian aid-every day and during a crisis.<br><br>By working with partner organizations, ANF implements over<br>100 programs throughout Nicaragua each year, working toward<br>the most vulnerable becoming self-sufficient and free of<br>poverty. We believe in subsidiarity: finding local solutions to<br>local problems, where decisions are made by the people closest<br>to and most affected by a community's problems.
