Goals

1. 1.We actively seek to engage with our community to contribute to the well-being of animals. Through education, outreach and support, we strive to create a compassionate informed community that values and cares for all animals. We advocate for change, for stronger animal welfare laws, increased shelter resources, and greater awareness of the needs of animals.
2. 2.Our goal is to open a low or no cost veterinary clinic to serve the needs of animals whose human companions themselves struggle with the necessities of life thereby allowing senior citizens and others to keep their animals with them in as healthy a condition as possible. Our county has a population of almost two million people but very few reduced cost clinics and the need is great.
3. 3.We want to expand a medical adoption program pairing a person or family with an animal who has a chronic medical condition such as diabetes or epilepsy or perhaps is nearing the end of their natural life. These animals would almost never be adopted due to the expense of continual treatment of their conditions. We provide lifetime care for our medical adoptees allowing them to live in a loving home
