Vision

We envision a community where imagination is recognized as one of our most renewable resources, reuse is a first choice, and every resource has value. At Resource Depot, we believe what others see as waste can become possibility. We rescue surplus and discarded materials and give them new life as tools for learning, artistic expression, innovation, and connection. By diverting hundreds of thousands of pounds of reusable materials from the waste stream each year, we show that caring for our planet begins with rethinking what we already have. We envision a future where creativity is accessible to everyone and shared across generations. Through materials, environmental education, hands-on experiences, workshops, exhibitions, outreach, and community events, we inspire people to think differently about consumption, creativity, and their impact on the world. We want a world where nothing with potential is seen as waste.
