THE OBJECTIVES OF THE RICHMOND YACHT CLUB FOUNDATION SHALL BE TO FOSTER AMATEUR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL YACHT RACING BY ASSISTING IN THE TRAINING OF AMATEUR YACHTSMEN AND YACHTSWOMEN FOR PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS. PROVIDING ASSISTANCE, FOSTERING, AND PROMOTING PUBLIC INTEREST.
