Mission

To promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence, and to create cultures of peace, justice, and healing for the Earth and all living beings. URI is the world's largest grassroots interfaith network, built from Cooperation Circles self-organizing local groups of at least 7 members from at least 3 different religions, spiritual, or indigenous traditions. URI unites more than 1,300 Cooperation Circles and 2,500+ Individual Members across 120+ countries, working across 14 Action Areas including peacebuilding, human rights, education, environment, indigenous peoples, women, and youth. Core program areas include a public-health-based violence-prevention methodology, the Traveling Peace Academy, Earth restoration work, and Individual Membership for people not affiliated with a Cooperation Circle.
