1. 1.To sustain professional wages, artistic excellence, and Pay-What-You-Can access, MCT must build a broad, reliable base of contributed support from individuals, foundations, businesses, grants, and legacy gifts. We will strengthen donor systems, deepen relationships, and diversify funding streams so that MCT has predictable financial stability independent of any single grant or windfall gift.
2. 2.As a rural theatre with professional ambitions, MCT’s long-term sustainability depends on strong, diverse, region-wide participation across performances, events, and education programs. We will increase regional visibility, strengthen community partnerships, cultivate loyal patrons and returning subscribers, and engage young people, making MCT an essential cultural home.
3. 3.Our commitment to bold work, reimagined classics, and premiering new plays sets us apart. We will produce theatre that challenges assumptions, encourages conversation, and brings world-class writing to our small town. We will lean into our artistic brand, strengthen new work pipelines, and upgrade production capacity to match our creative ambitions.
