    Founded in 2005, KSMQ is a public television station whose primary purpose is broadcasting programs and conducting workshops uniquely designed to educate and serve the specific needs of their audiences, with emphasis on those groups who are in need and underserved in the Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa regions. KSMQ focuses on locally produced content, spotlighting issues, events and people in our region. The organization also offers child related education and outreach programs to schools, parents, organizations, and communities throughout the viewing area.
