Mission

The Children’s Bureau of New Orleans promotes growth and resilience through prevention, advocacy, education and intervention. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families in greater New Orleans through valid and proven programs that enhance and strengthen mental health and wellness.

Vision

Our vision is that all children will thrive in happy and healthy families and reach their fullest potential.

Goals

1.We hope to be the premier Children's mental health experts across the city, helping to create policy recommendations and advocate on behalf of children and families
2.We currently operate within 15 schools encompassing 7,500 children. We aim to expand into an additional school within the next year, to reach more students. We also aim to increase our connections to other resource partners.
3.We aim to increase our funding resources as more funding is being cut. We have successfully hired a part time Development Manager as well as a Communications Manager, to help increase our donor base and online presentation.
