    USS KIDD Veterans Museum serves the citizens of Louisiana through the creation of engaging and informative exhibits and programs highlighting the role that Louisiana and its citizens have played in U.S. military history. The Museum is responsible for the continuing restoration, maintenance, and interpretation of the World War II-era Fletcher-class destroyer USS KIDD (DD-661), a National Historic Landmark.
