Baton Rouge Gallery Inc.

Mission

The Baton Rouge Gallery's mission is to connect audiences with local and national contemporary artists through exhibitions and innovative cultural programming.

Vision

Louisiana's capital area is a hub for contemporary artists from across the state and a place where audiences have regular exposure to new ideas, new media, and new viewpoints.

Goals

1.Space limitations of current facilities lead us to continue evaluating opportunities to cultivate new/existing spaces for the exhibition of works produced by living Louisiana-based artists.
2.Increase awareness of BRG's existing programs - the majority of which are free and open to all - and decrease barriers to access, whether they are a result of perception, financial, or other.
3.Expand staffing infrastructure to scale alongside growing audiences and the number of artists being engaged. Doing so will also prevent burnout and turnover with its existing staff members.
