Mission

United Way of Norman's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. In 2025/ 2026, United Way of Norman will fund 34 programs at 24 nonprofit partner agencies in Norman, Southern Cleveland, McClain and Garvin counties. These programs are comprised in three Impact Areas: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Healthy Community. The United Way also funds initiatives to fill in community gaps and provides services to the community through programs like Student United Way Youth Leadership programs, The Launch Social Innovation grants, Financial Alliance of Norman (FAN) promoting financial stability, and the Stuff the Bus School Supply Program.
