Mission

Beacon Academy closes the opportunity gap for a group of Greater Boston’s determined and inquisitive students. Through education and advocacy, our community supports students as they develop and embrace their identities and build lives of agency and impact.

Trusted with the responsibility of an exceptional education, Beacon Academy graduates are bold contributors to a more authentic, just, and compassionate world.

Goals

1.Hire a full complement of staff, particularly a Program Manager to support students and families, a Chief Advancement Officer, and a Director of Enrollment and Placement.
2.Expand and strengthen our recruitement pipeline to increase the number of students who alight with our mission and can access Beacon Academy's unique program. Continue to evolve the Beacon Prep program.
3.Continue implementing recommendations from Beacon's Equity Audit.
