Mission

For nearly 70 years, The Women’s Home (TWH) has been dedicated to building communities in the Houston area that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. At its core, our mission focuses on supporting women experiencing crisis and recovery from substance use disorder and mental health conditions by providing the tools and resources for them to overcome, heal, and thrive. We envision a world in which every woman has the chance to live the life she aspires to and opportunities for success as she defines it. In support of that vision, we deliver personalized care that includes housing, behavioral health treatment and other wrap around support services to help women and their families access the skills and resources they need to flourish.
