Mission

Manos de Cristo was founded in 1988. The mission of Manos de Cristo is to empower low-income individuals with a loving hand of assistance and without regard to age, gender, race, or religious preference. Manos de Cristo promotes dignity and self-reliance by meeting basic needs with food and clothing, providing essential oral care, and furthering educational development.

1.As the population of Central Texas expands, so does the number of homeless and low-income families. Manos de Cristo meets individuals where they are in life to give them a helping hand of assistance.
2.Our physical building was built in the 1970's, our board is committed to keeping our facility sound and stable for our clients, students and volunteers.
3.Manos de Cristo is committed to exploring new opportunities to expand our work into other communities or neighborhoods with the right infrastructure and investment strategy in place.
