Content will be guided by the shared interests of the membership and users of Texas Public Radio media, while adhering to the highest standards of responsible journalism and the values of Texas Public Radio.

1.1. Provide independent, fact-based, and fair, award-winning news coverage, including from reporters on 7 dedicated news beats that enable them to do local in-depth coverage.
2.Serve as a convener for community conversation and civic dialogue, to ensure our citizens have the information and context needed to make sound decisions regarding the important community issues.
3.Support a culturally vibrant community by maintaining one of the few remaining 24-hour classical music stations in the country, ensuring that classical music is both accessible and affordable.
