Vision

In Latin America, approximately 29 million people live on less than $1.90 a day. Families struggle to pay for even the most basic necessities such as food and water, which leaves little left over for adequate housing. They will utilize scrap materials such as cardboard, pallets, blankets, sheet metal, and tin for makeshift shelter. In just one week, volunteers build a secure home complete with a concrete foundation, electricity, doors, and windows. A shack built out of scraps will be replaced by a home of dignity, safety, and comfort.

Goals

1. 1.We have 11 other countries across Latin America that we plan to expand to in the future. We have seen great success in our program, so we hope to expand our reach into other impoverished communities.
2. 2.We currently average around 300 homes per year. We hope to reach an average of 400 homes a year in the next several years to continue serving impoverished families across Latin America.
3. 3.One of our main priorities right now is to invest in the future expansion of our organization's infrastructure - housing for volunteers, warehouse and office space, etc.
