Mission

Merced Housing Texas' mission is to create and strengthen healthy communities by providing quality, affordable housing with supportive services for low-income individuals, families, and older adults.

Vision

We believe that every person has the right to decent, safe housing in a nurturing atmosphere that promotes personal growth and family stability. We believe that no one should pay an excessive proportion of income for housing. We believe that residents, staff, board, supporters and all who collaborate with us contribute to modeling responsibility and building healthy communities.

Goals

1.Create new affordable multifamily housing units in Bexar County
2.Preserve ownership of 464 apartment units at Riversquare, Navigation Pointe, Fenner Square, and Coastal Haven.
3.Repair, improve accessibility, and increase energy efficiency of 200 homes in Bexar County by the end of FY2025.
