Vision

Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary envisions a world in which all equines are no longer abused and slaughtered, and their status of a "livestock" animal is elevated to that of a "companion" animal. In order to continue our mission, we seek to expand our land base so our equines may experience the freedom they once knew.

Goals

1. 1.Our commitment is to raise awareness to the plight of abuse, neglect and slaughter of equines, while continuing to care for the 67 equines at the sanctuary. Equines are slaughtered for human consumption abroad. The very animal that built our country is brutally abused and slaughtered and fall through the cracks since they are considered "livestock" and not "companion" animals.
2. 2.To continue to operate as efficiently as we can and continue to care for our equines in an equitable and responsible manner, and to remain debt free.
3. 3.We saw a need to continue our mission on the East Coast, so are in planning/fundraising for this expansion to South Carolina!
