Although we will be returning to "in person" trainings, we have discovered that it is definitely possible to effectively utilize virtual methods to deliver our programs.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.


2020 proved to be an exceptionally mobilizing year for TSW. While limited in our ability to have in-person trainings, we secured a learning management system and migrated 140 hours of classroom instruction to video and created over 200 digital resources. We also hosted quarterly webinars for the shelter community and moved our public trainings to video conferencing. For the latter, we saw a 560% increase in public participation with our online trainings, including international audiences.
