Mission

The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) is THE charity of emergency physicians. Founded in 1972 by visionary leaders of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), EMF invests its funds to further emergency medicine research and education. The mission of EMF is to promote education and research that develops career emergency medicine researchers and improves patient care and provides the basis for effective health policy.
