Our fundraising events were effected by Covid 19 which in turn effected our revenue but we applied and received the PPP loan and were able to keep our full staff.
How COVID-19 impacted the organization's delivery of programs:
Covid 19 restricted the families we serve in many ways. They were unable to travel, have birthday parties or even have visitors to the hospital. We adjusted by sending gift cards to them to use for basic needs so they could continue to create memories with their children any way they could.
How this organization adapted to changing conditions caused by COVID-19:
We were able to adjust our fundraising to comply with the rules of Covid 19. Social distancing was obviously a priority and we were very conscience to keep everyone safe.
Innovations the organization intends to continue permanently after the pandemic:
We will continue to send gift cards to the families to use for basic necessities to create everlasting memories but we are also happy to bring back travel and social events.
