Vision

East Lake Pet Orphanage is expanding to reduce pet homelessness, increase adoptions, and enhance animal well-being. 1. Increased Rescue Capacity – Quadrupling the number of animals rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed each year. 2. Enhanced Medical & Behavioral Support – Expanding veterinary care, rehabilitation, and training to improve adoption success. 3. Greater Community Engagement – Establishing a central adoption center, hosting workshops, and promoting responsible pet ownership. 4. Support for Veterans & Special Programs – Continuing partnerships with Disabled American Veterans and expanding service animal initiatives. 5. Long-Term Sustainability – Strengthening infrastructure, partnerships, and funding to support future growth. This expansion will transform thousands of lives—both pets and the people who love them.

Goals

1. 1.ELPO is expanding by transforming a 3,200-square-foot building next to East Lake Hospital and Cat Care Center. The new facility will house an adoption center, community spaces, and event facilities, while the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) continue operations on the first floor, supporting both rescue efforts and our nation’s heroes.
