MISSION The vision of the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) is to create a future of hope in which cardiomyopathy is detected earlier, more lives are saved, and all children with the disease can live full and active lives. CCF's mission is to accelerate the search for causes and cures for pediatric cardiomyopathy through increased research, education, awareness, advocacy, and support to affected children and their families.

Eliciting feedback has enabled CCF to ensure we are meeting the needs of the patients and families we serve by developing educational materials, support resources, and support services to improve health outcomes and enhance quality of life for those diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. From feedback, CCF has identified the following needs and has been incorporated into CCF's strategic plan: -Empower parents and caregivers with relevant, credible, and easy-to-understand educational materials -Provide virtual opportunities for parents to connect with other families for emotional support and obtain disease information from medical experts -Offer support resources and services to assist families in their daily challenges of living with a chronic condition all developmental stages

The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) recently developed CCF’s new Regional Ambassador Program. This leadership program aims to expand our patient base and engage more parents in the development of family resources and the expansion of community efforts. Ambassadors will offer informational and emotional support to diagnosed families and provide CCF with “on-the-ground” feedback to ensure that their needs are being met.
