Mission

Good Sports drives equitable access in youth sports and physical activity, by supporting children in high-need communities to achieve their greatest potential, on the field and in life. Sports and fitness activities have a tremendous impact on a child's mental, social, emotional and physical health, but unfortunately the cost to play leaves many children on the sidelines. By collaborating with sporting goods companies and financial supporters, Good Sports donates brand-new sports equipment, apparel and footwear to youth organizations in high-need communities. Since our founding in 2003, we have provided $132 million in equipment to help thousands of programs provide greater access to play for 10 million children in need. We believe play is for all. Vision

At Good Sports, we dream of a world where every child, regardless of their socioeconomic background, has the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of play. We believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive through sports and fitness opportunities. Together with our donors, we are tackling the cost barriers in sports to make that dream a reality.
