Vision

EdOp seeks to help students with high motivation and limited financial resources, for whom a grant of $10,000 a year will have a critical impact on their ability to meet the goal of attaining a college degree. The young people helped by these grants typically have other loans and scholarships from conventional sources yet may still be unable to attend college without an EdOp scholarship. In addition to financial assistance, each student is assigned a mentor from the EdOp Board of Trustees who provides motivational support and guidance for challenges that might arise during a student's college career.

Goals

1. 1.To raise the necessary funds to provide scholarships for all students enrolled in the program.
2. 2.To ensure the board of trustees is comprised of individuals committed to the mission of the organization and will agree to mentoring students during their board tenure.
3. 3.To continue incorporating technology as a means to more efficiency related to fundraising, student selection, and student success.
