Re Mind

Mission

Founded in 2004, re:MIND (formerly Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Greater Houston) provides free and confidential support groups for individuals living with, or family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorders. Our support groups help anyone who is trying to understand these two difficult mental disorders so they can better assist their loved ones on their path to wellness. re:MIND support groups are facilitated by trained, dedicated and passionate facilitators. There is no fee or registration required, just show up. Support groups are available both in person and online. All groups are 1.5 hours.

1.There was been a drastic increase in the need for mental health services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. re:MIND is trying to expand to reach more people who need mental health support.
2.re:MIND is focused on upgrading all our technological equipment and platforms in order to be more efficient in its hybrid model. Online support groups come with a cost that was not there before.
3.re:MIND is focused on helping those with depression and bipolar disorders but also to raise awareness of suicide prevention. The rates of suicide have also been increasing.
