    Yellowstone Academy

    Mission

    Yellowstone Academy seeks to inspire, empower, and invest in students to achieve their highest potential and fulfill their intended purpose. We promise to educate each child to their full potential.<br><br>Yellowstone Academy was founded in July 2001 to provide a high quality, faith-based education for economically disadvantaged students. The Academy opened in August 2002 with 64 pre-school students living in and around Houston's Third Ward neighborhood. In 2006, Yellowstone purchased a former elementary school building from the Houston Independent School District. In 2012, Yellowstone celebrated its first 8th grade graduating class. <br><br>Our alumni are excelling in high school and continuing to pursue their full potential in college and with other post-secondary opportunities. <br><br>In the Fall of 2018, the Academy helped launch a new public charter school, Yellowstone College Prep, which serves students in 5th through 8th grade. This new school will grow to serve students through 12th grade.
