Vision

Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential. To achieve this, we partner with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community w/the goal of each child in our program achieving: • Academic success and educational advancement • Social and emotional development for greater confidence and better relationships • Avoidance of risky behaviors

Goals

1. 1.By being visible leaders at the forefront of youth development and intentional in leveraging growth opportunities, we can set the standard for excellence in youth mentorship and increase our impact. We have goals to reach 500+ children engaged annually, grow to 8+ site-based programs, and expand our reach in Northern SLO County and expand our service area into Northern Santa Barbara County.
2. 2.Highly visible facility and offsite spaces that bring together staff, community members, and stakeholders will magnify the impact of BBBS-SLO’s programs and partnerships. A sustained culture of accountability and continuous learning for staff and board will build critical internal capacity, which will support our external relationships.
3. 3.Strategic policies and disciplined practices regarding budgeting and fiscal management will position the organization to invest in future growth as well as weather unexpected events.
