Mission

The Friends of the Inyos mission is to protect and care for the land and water of California's Eastern Sierra.

1.Policy: Share knowledge and develop strategies about proposed projects and policies that affect the Eastern Sierra environment, including mining, energy, and development proposals, water justice, and conservation.
2.Stewardship: Complete high quality projects with agencies and partners toward a well-maintained system of trails and restoration and protection of habitat.
3.Community: Grow and continue partnerships with land management and governmental agencies, Indigenous partners, NGOs, and members of the community to protect the land.
