Vision

A justice system rooted in dignity, healing, and restoration, where people impacted by incarceration are empowered to transform their lives, communities are restored, and society moves toward mercy, accountability, and lasting peace.

Goals

1. 1.Strengthen organizational impact by prioritizing core programs that directly advance our mission while thoughtfully scaling back activities that are less central. This focus allows us to use resources more effectively, deepen program quality, and support sustainable growth aligned with our values.
2. 2.The mission of Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative. Through education, storytelling, and engagement with impacted communities, we seek to promote restorative justice, human dignity, and systemic change within California’s criminal legal system.
3. 3.Develop new programs in response to evolving needs identified through direct engagement with incarcerated participants, families, and partner institutions. These programs will address emerging gaps in healing, restoration, and reentry support, while remaining grounded in restorative justice principles and lived experience.
