Mission

TO PROVIDE A SPACE WHERE SENIORS CAN SOCIALIZE AND RECIEVE A MEAL, TO OFFER A FOOD BANK THAT SERVES ALL AND STRIVES TO NEVER TURN ANYONE AWAY, TO SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO NEED HELP APPLYING FOR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE.

Vision

A Wendover where hunger is a thing of the past!

Goals

1.Increase daily congregate meal visitors. Now that we are nearing the end of the COVID-19 pandemic we want to build this program to serve seniors who are ineligible to receive home-delivered meals.
2.Bring on additional staff. Additional staff is needed to help support senior center activities, friendly visitor service, increase resource center hours, & expand food bank hours.
3.Create a friendly visitor program. This will allow us to connect with our home-delivered meal clients in person at least once per week & assist them with household chores and running errands.
