Receivables to our organization declined by almost 40% for a quarter. However we applied for and received a PPP loan which allowed us to operate normally.
Due to social distancing most sport and education programming was happening from home, Up2Us Sports pivoted our Coach and VISTA AmeriCorps programming to an online platform and provided alternative service options for our Coaches--such as food distribution. We also pivoted our SBYD in-person training models to online using Zoom.
We offered virtual programming and training. We also allowed our employees to work remotely.
We are redesigning our in-person SBYD training curriculum to a hybrid model, which will include both on-line learning and in-person sessions that reinforce the on-line training modules.

As an AmeriCorps service organization. Our model relies on collaboration with other nonprofits and community organizations. In addition, Up2Us has multiple partnerships with for profit organizations to focus on career development in support of our AC service members.

Up2Us Sports was incredibly nimble during the COVID 19 pandemic. We were able pivot our AC coaching and VISTA positions in order to continue to serve their communities through both on-line and in person work. Up2Us Sports experienced significant program growth with our AC VISTA program despite COVID 19.
