Vision

From our establishment in 2007, we have delivered services that have positively impacted the lives of more than 450 women. Our inception was in response to the scarcity of accessible and high-quality substance abuse treatment as well as transitional living services for women in the Fresno community. Notably, we boast an impressive 83% success rate, in contrast to the national average of just 54% for short-term residential programs. (SAMHSA 2018).

Goals

1. 1.The Light House Recovery Program provides short-term residential treatment to women. These services are structured to provide support, structure, and accountability to women of all ages who are experiencing a substance use disorder. We contract with licensed therapists to provide clinical therapy to all clients.
2. 2.The Light House Recovery Program provides transitional aftercare housing (sober living) to women and their children. Light House provides women experiencing substance use disorder a safe place to receive weekly professional individual and group therapy and evidence-based addiction treatment.
3. 3.During Phase 2, women receive job readiness training and gain employment either through Light House’s social enterprises: Cornerstone Coffee Company, LadyBug Boutique, and Light-Wear Clothing or external work placements.
