Vision

We are working toward a future where we live in harmony with nature, where our economy serves the people rather than the people serving the economy, where neighbors work side-by-side to build a world that lives up to our ideals of fairness, inclusion, and justice.

Goals

1. 1.Grow our people power by recommitting to and recentering organizing. Committing to this goal means we will prioritize relationships and listen to new people, find common ground and shared self-interest, and invite new people into the work based on their self-interest. To do this we need increased training and tools and to develop processes and boundaries on issues to take on.
2. 2.Grow our narrative power by experimenting with modern communications tools across the organization. Committing to this goal means we will develop our base of storytellers and equip them to tell their story, develop systems and trainings to ensure we are telling our own compelling stories, engage popular mediums like short form video across platforms, and make our materials more accessible to all.
3. 3.We re-orient our organizing at the state and local levels around clearly defined communities of people and surface our issues from the priorities of those communities. Committing to this goal means moving through a series of trainings together on core organizing principles, members are organizing people themselves together with their organizer, and developing metrics for base-building assessment.
