    Mission

    Haven's mission is to reduce the incidence and minimize the impact of domestic violence on families and communities by providing crisis intervention services to survivors and education to the community. Haven is the only nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and stalking in Gallatin County. Our approach makes us unique-everything we do is deeply and genuinely rooted in empowerment. <br><br>Last year, 1,195 survivors accessed a wide range of Haven's services-a 12% increase from the previous year. 399 sought help through our legal advocacy office; 63 found emotional support through counseling and support groups. Advocates answered the support line 5,456 times-averaging 15 times a day. Haven provided shelter to 141 survivors and their children in Haven's emergency shelter or hotels for a total of 2,849 nights of safe shelter. Haven educated 1,876 community members-including 1,428 teens.
