SparkHope Automotive (formerly Hands of The Carpenter)

Mission

SparkHope Automotive (formerly Hands of The Carpenter) is a faith-based nonprofit organization uniquely serving working single moms by addressing the often overlooked issue of transportation. Hands provides automobile maintenance, repair, and placement to relieve the enormous financial burden and related distress that automobile repair puts on this population and their opportunity for economic self-sufficiency.

Vision

The overarching vision for Hands is to provide quality automotive service programs across the Denver metro area, removing obstacles that negatively impact working single moms striving to maintain employment, care for their dependent children, and achieve economic self-sufficiency

Goals

1.Complete a new strategic plan for the next 3-5 years, (2020 strategic plan was completed in 2024).
2.Continue to focus on service and cost efficiencies to increase the number of women served from 681 in 2024 to 800 new and returning clients.
3.Make needed investments into infrastructure (technology and staff) that will allow Hands to efficiently and effectively manage the complexity of our recent growth and be prepared for an even brighter future of service.
