Mission

The Susie King Taylor Community School (SKTCS or "Corporation"), was organized and will be operated exclusively as a charitable and educational organization as stated under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future tax code. More specifically, Susie King Taylor Community School, Inc. is organized to cultivate a vibrant, academically challenging learning community that celebrates each individual's gifts and instills in students a sense of stewardship as global citizens. Through experiential learning that emphasizes both quiet reflection and group collaboration, we empower students to critically examine the world and to activate their capacity for creating lasting positive change.
