Mission

Tails of Hope (TOH) serves as an active member of a lifesaving community by addressing the Root Cause of pet over-population through low-to no-cost spay/neuter programs, TNR programs, and supporting other animal welfare organizations while bringing awareness to animals in need and helping to keep families together.

2.We aim to add new educational programs to our PAWSitive Pathways to Veterinary Careers Program thru partnership with technical schools, high schools, colleges, and adult training programs. There is a nationwide shortage of veterinary professionals which impacts rural areas like ours in Western PA & Eastern OH more. Our goal is to build a talent pipeline for our region to benefit all animal orgs.
3.In order to achieve our goals to grow/expand, to introduce new programs, and to become a sustainable community resource for the future, we aim to secure funding to invest in the capacity of our organization. Without federal, state, or local municipality funding support, we focus efforts on fundraising events, outreach to private donors, and grants.
