The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Our goal is to expand access to our sustainable living programs by growing our community gardens, composting hubs program, pollinator projects, and Free Little Pantries-helping more residents learn, share, and take action for a greener, healthier, and more food-secure region.
Goal Two: We're investing in the financial management and technical capacity of our organization by hiring our first paid staff, improving fundraising systems, and expanding resources to support future growth, and long-term sustainability of our community programs.
Goal Three: NEEC's goal is to build a more sustainable and environmentally just region by advocating for policies and community practices that protect nature, reduce waste, and strengthen resilience through education, civic engagement, and grassroots environmental action.
