Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation
Mission
Founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is on a mission to change the way cancer is treated and reduce cancer-patient suffering by providing a treatment that is accessible, affordable, and effective. Despite the best approaches, nearly 9 million cancer-related deaths occur yearly. Dr. Green developed Laser-Activated Nano-Therapy (LANT), which completely eliminates tumors in laboratory mice after one 10-minute treatment in just 15 days, without observable side effects, surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy. Limited by funding, not technological advancements, we are ready to move LANT beyond the laboratory and into humans with tax-deductible donations, independent of (for-profit) investors. Your generous support will fund human clinical trials, keep our cancer-killing technology affordable for all, and ensure we stay independent. Our actions TODAY can save our lives TOMORROW. Please support by donating and/or volunteering at OraLee.org.
Vision
We envision a world where cancer is defeated - a world where cancer is no longer a devastating diagnosis but a treatable, manageable, and affordable condition. Together, we are ensuring the affordability and accessibility of our cancer treatments by using a 501(c)(3) nonprofit business model and tax-deductible donations to raise funds to cover the costs of FDA approval and human clinical trials. We are at the forefront of a new movement to revolutionize the way cancer is treated, save lives, and improve health outcomes for millions of cancer patients worldwide.
Goals
- 1.Our goal is to bring our new, physics-inspired medical advancement, a cancer-killing technology (Laser-Activated NanoTherapy - LANT), out of the laboratory and into humans while ensuring it remains affordable and accessible for all.
- 2.Raise funds to cover the costs of FDA approval and translating our cancer-killing technology, LANT, developed by our founder, Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, out of the laboratory and into humans.
- 3.Increase the number of active volunteers from 50 to 200 to help with activities such as fundraising, outreach, marketing, social media, and online technical support.
