We serve nonprofit leaders mostly, and some staff, as well as the community at large through volunteer fairs, board trainings, and our Giving Back guide. Nonprofit leaders are routinely polled on a variety of topics, most recently on Board Composition. The NPC also has a nonprofit advisory board as well a regular advisory board. Surveys are often implemented after workshops and events to measure satisfaction and solicit ideas for future programming. Legislative Town Halls have been very popular

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
COVID forced us to adopt new technology and master the art of digital meetings and events. Working from home allowed us to do even more work, running 28 programs with a nimble staff of two. Innovation and responsiveness have earned us respect from community leaders and funders - everyone wants to partner now, six years after the inception of the organization. In addition to continuing our signature offerings such as the Berkshire Nonprofit Awards, Giving Back Guide and Volunteer Fairs, NPC embarked on two big projects in partnership with regional organizations. The first is a cross-sector collaboration with the goal of bringing more Federal funds into Berkshire County. The second is a contract with Berkshire Regional Planning Commission via a CARES ACT grant to present 29 workshops designed to increase nonprofit resilience post-COVID. We also finally found funding to create a board training video series with the goal of encouraging board service. We are most proud of providing fiscal sponsorship to fledgling and grassroots nonprofits. We continue to upgrade operationally as well, hiring a new and better accounting firm and professional payroll company, expanding the board, and increasing staff pay.
